The Deep Blue (DB) series introduces a completely new subwoofer platform developed using Velodyne Acoustics technologies. It boasts modern styling and unmatched performance, delivering dynamic and accurate output. The platform features a new industrial design, advanced driver technology, and an innovative amplifier design. Available in 8”, 10”, 12”, and 15” sizes, the DB subwoofers succeed the successful SPL I series, known for their small form factor closed box design.
Advanced Design and Performance Features
The DB subwoofers feature a rigidly braced MDF closed box with a front-firing woofer, ensuring impactful performance without cabinet noise. The small form factor makes it easy to integrate into any listening setup. The high excursion driver, equipped with a dual ferrite magnet and a four-layer voice coil, is designed for maximum output with minimal distortion. Line-level and speaker-level inputs provide versatile connectivity. With a variable crossover and phase control, users can fine-tune the sub’s output to seamlessly blend with the mids and highs from their main speakers and optimise bass response for their room’s acoustics.

- Quad voice coil provides high efficiency, fast rise times and pulse fidelity with double ferrite magnets
- Enclosed cabinet made of solid MDF material prevents distortion and vibration
- With adjustable level, crossover frequency and phase, the Deep Blue subwoofers can be flexibly adapted to the listening room and existing equipment
- For connectivity, RCA input jacks are provided for the left and right channels, as well as a dedicated subwoofer input with loop-through capability
